The Shrinking Violets

—Do Dancers Need Heroes?

As promised, we tried to answer what we thought were the hardest questions - ‘Do we seek out heroes to seek out approval?’ and ‘What if we made up our own heroes?’ This was recorded at The Duke, Deptford.  A lovely barman called Pip Jones openly joined the discussion and that’s when we started recording.

Listen out for the following key points:

1. Orgasm faces in public epitomising the heroic.

2. The Truman Show.

3. When we make up our own heroes, we are trying to establish an outside gaze from the inside…

4. The unwitting quotation of Mariah Carey.

Disclaimers:

We are not deliberately supporting the music in the background.

We are not sound engineers - we used this… to help. Thank you  David Jackel eHow Presenter .

We do not apologise for never finishing our sentences.
